Countdown starts for May 1st releases
Universal Star Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on May Day along with Aishwarya Dhanush directed Vai Raja Vai.

If Uttama Villain and Vai Raja Vai are all set to release on May 1st, looks like Jyothika's comeback film 36 Vayadhinile will be released the following week on May 8th.

Promitions going on in full swing for both the movies.

Uttama Villain, Kamal Haasan’s next and most eagerly awaited film. Directed by close friend Ramesh Arvind, Haasan is playing dual roles in this story that he has written. Making this film special is the presence of Haasan’s mentor, late director K. Balachander, in a significant role. Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah play the female leads.

Haasan’s story is set in two different eras, the 8th and the 20th centuries era. While the former tale is a musical comedy around a folk artist, the second is a social drama.

Vai Raja Vai is about a gambler’s story, made with the likes of star kids/ youngsters Yuvan Shankar Raja, Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Gautham Karthik, Priya Anand, Taapsee. This film is on the sets from a long time, say 2 years. The young star has her own fans too, so trade analysts are almost sure that the movie is going to get a great opening. Vai Raja Vai is doing some aggressive promotion like TV interviews and press meets, so it will be hard for the movie to give Uttama Villain some competition.

Written by Kamal Haasan, Uttama Villain speaks about the transformation of a stage artist to a big star, whereas Vai Raja Vai is a romantic thriller.

Almost it will be experienced vs. newcomers at Tamil Nadu Box Office this Friday with Uttama Villain and Vai Raja Vai hitting screens on 1st of May.

It is hard to tell which one is going to make more money at the theaters, but we did the prediction anyway, but before we talk in details about our prediction please remember that we love both the movies’ producers and actors, and we support both of them. This prediction is simply based on the pre releases buzz.

Stay tuned to know Uttama Villain and Vai Raja Vai stands winner with positive reviews...
