The National Award winning actor Dhanush was seen in a cameo appearance in Vai Raja Vai, directed by his wife, Aishwarya.

In the film, he was seen as Kokki Kumar, the role that he reprised in Pudhupettai, directed his brother Selvaraghavan.

With VRV’s release yesterday, Dhanush seems to have turned nostalgic as he had tweeted about watching Pudhupettai at his home theatre.

His tweet on this was: “Watching pudhupettai now alone in my home theatre !! #vairajavai #effectofvairajavai #kokkikumar .. I love you selva.” 

This proves that the both Dhanush and Aishwarya simply love that character etched out by Selvaraghavan.

Dhanush expressed his desire to do Pudhupettai 2, he was quick to add that the sequel is only at the discussion level. Both Dhanush and Selvaraghavan seem to be apprehensive about recreating the same magic of Pudhupettai.
