After multiple roadblocks, Simbu's new film with Selvaraghavan has kick started today (May 14) at Chennai.

It is a great relief of fans of both the hero and the director who are anxiously waiting for them to make a grand comeback together.

The film will be jointly produced Selvaraghavan's wife Gitanjali and Siddarth Rao under Glo Studios, additional information is that both the producers are childhood friends.

The makers say that the project will be an entertainer and the genre of the film will different from Selvaraghavan's earlier ventures.

The untitled project will have Catherine Tresa, Taapsee, Jagapathi Babu and yesteryear actor Suresh to its star cast. Selvaraghavan's good friends Yuvan Shankar Raja and Arvind Krishna will be taking care of music and cinematography respectively, marks the reunion of them after Kaadhal Kondain, 7g Rainbow Colony and Pudhupettai.

The movie is expected to be shot across various areas of Chennai, Hyderabad and a schedule of foreign shoot, which will be disclosed soon.
