Forbes India magazine today have released the list of the Top 100 Richest, Famous and Influential Celebrities of India.

Here'a a new who's first competition hotting up the Kollywood shores: According to reports, Forbes India has released the names of the top 100 Indian rich and influential celebrities for this year, and guess what?

It is namma Ajith who's come top among the Kollywood stars this time. He's 19th in the rich list, and 98th in the influential index, thereby beating Rajinikanth, Vijay and others to become the richest Tamil actor.

Following Thala are Rajinikanth, who is placed 21st in the 100 richest Indian celebrities list, and his popularity is ranked 89th. Rajini is followed by Vijay, who came 23rd and 80th, respectively. Then there's Dhanush, who's Bollywood and Kollywood outings got him the 53rd position in the the list for his earnings, and his popularity level was at 77 out of 100. Prabhudheva also found himself in this list at 59 and 87.

There are others from the south film industry in this list, too, like musician AR Rahman, who actually topped the popular south people in list, ranking 15, in both, being rich as well as famous, and just two steps down is maverick filmmaker AR Murugadoss, who's at number 17 for wealth and 97 for popularity.
