When the league of short filmmakers constantly managed to deliver good and entertaining movies, director Ram shot to fame for his hilarious entertainer titled 'Mundasupatti' that starred Vishnu Vishal and Nandita in lead roles.

The film was produced by CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment and was promoted, released and marketed by Fox Star Studios. In fact, their creative promotions made it more appealing and turned to be one of the major elements in making the film successful.

Now director Ram has narrated a script to CV Kumar and the latter has instantly given a nod to the project. The cast and crew finalization has already commenced and project will start rolling shortly.

However, contrary to what was claimed earlier that Ram’s next would be a sequel to his debut venture, this one is said to be a fresh script. “The film will be set in urban backdrop and it will be a rom-com,” sources said.

Kumar, who runs Thirukumaran Entertainment, has a string of projects in the pipeline, and they include ‘144’ (audio of which will be released on October 30), ‘Irudhi Suttru’, ‘Iraivi’ and ‘Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum’.

In the meantime, he is all set to make his debut as director too. The yet untitled movie is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and it has Sundeep Kishan in the lead. The project is fast taking shape.
