Kamal Haasan confirmed that he is in talks with Netflix, an online video streaming platform to revive his ambitious project Marudhanayagam which has been lying in the cans for more than a decade.

The project was shelved due to financial constraints long back and the chances for revival have always looked bleak considering the huge budget the movie demanded.

Now, Kamal has confirmed he is also in talks with few Hollywood production houses and an official announcement about the project can be expected next year.

If everything goes good, there are rumours that film might go on floor likely next year after Vishwaroopam 2 release.

His upcoming release Thoongaa Vanam is set to hit screens for Diwali on November 10th with Ajith’s Vedalam.
