With all the preparations on the fall role for the release of Aranmanai 2, the sudden decision and confirmation has been made that the theatrical release of this horror-comedy will not be made on Pongal as announced earlier.

Producer-actress Kushboo has tweeted on her micro-blogging page that the release of this film has been postponed to January 29 due to some pending CG works as it needs a lot of perfection levels to score the brownie points.

The horror comedy directed by Sundar C features him in lead role alongside Siddarth, Trisha, Hansika Motwani, Poonam Bajwa and many other prominent actors like Soori and others from the crew of last year blockbuster hit 'Aranmanai 2'.

So, it is evidently proved that the Pongal race for now consists of Vishal's Kathakali, Jayam Ravi's Miruthan and if things work out on plans, it will be Sivakarthikeyan's Rajini Murugan.
