Producers of ‘2.0’, a sequel to ‘Enthiran‘, have revealed that the budget of the movie starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead would be around Rs 350 crore, excluding print and promotion costs.

So, if another Rs 100 crore is added for the above expenses, the film’s budget is close to Rs 450 crore. In a video interview, top people of Lyca have said that due to contractual contradictions, they could not cast Arnold and replaced him with Akshay Kumar.

In the meantime, Lyca will be co-producing the Hindi and Telugu remake versions of Vijay starrer ‘Kaththi’ (which were originally produced by them). In Telugu, Chiranjeevi will be do Vijay's role while in Hindi, Akshay will play the lead.

Amy Jackson is the heroine of ‘2.0’, directed by Shankar. Music is by Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman. Ace dialogue writer Jeyamohan is paring up with Shankar for the first time. Editing will be by Antony while Oscar Award winner Rasool Pookutty will be handling the Sound Designing.
