Ace director Mani Ratnam is all set to begin his next film will have Karthi and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. It is heard that he is planning to shoot major portions of the film in Kashmir.

The film is said to be based in Kashmir and will revolve around terrorists. Now that sound similar to the evergreen Roja. Earlier Mani Rathnam shot his film ‘Roja’, starring Arvindswamy and Madhubala, in Kashmir and after 24 years he is to shoot there again.

Karthi reportedly plays a NRI air pilot while Sai Pallavi of 'Premam' fame plays a doctor in this yet to be titled film. A.R.Rahman will be scoring the music.
