More speculations are rounding up on Ajith Kumar's tentatively titled 'Thala 57', which is directed by Siruthai Siva.

The final stage of script works are happening in full swing at Kodaikanal, where Anirudh is also present for the composing of tunes.

It is now learnt that the shooting will commence on June 9, which is reported to be based on city based gangster story. Ajith Kumar is now hitting gyms regularly. Although, the project will be a quickie of just 3 months, the producers have decided to release the movie for Pongal 2017. Nayantara will most probably play the female lead.The official announcement from the production house will be out by third week of April.

It looks like pre-planned attempt, because Ajith Kumar's tentatively titled Thala 58 will be a period film involving lots of grandeur long shooting schedules, directed by Vishnuvardhan. Since this film's shooting might happen for a year, the actor wants to accordingly plan the release with a right gap of release.
