Popular director K S Ravikumar is doing a cameo in Sivakarthikeyan‘s upcoming film ‘Remo’.

Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film Remo with Keerthi Suresh seems to be getting a lot of appreciation from people who are working in the film. The unit of Remo produced by RD Raja of 24 AM Studios got a big surprise from director KS Ravikumar recently. The director has played a pivotal role in the movie recently and completed his portions in few hours.

But the production house (24 AM Studios) paid full day remuneration to KSR. However, the ‘Nattamai’ and ‘Padayappa’ maker refused to take it, and gave back half day salary. “He said it would not be fair on his part if he took full compensation,” sources said. The production team was hesitant to take the money back but he insisted.

This gesture of the veteran filmmaker has touched the unit members of ‘Remo’, especially Sivakarthikeyan. He telephoned KSR and lauded him, sources added.

Tipped to be a rom-com, ‘Remo’ is directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan. It is said to be fast nearing completion. The film which has Keerthi Suresh as heroine has cinematography by P C Sreeram and music by Anirudh.
