Nivin Pauly has signed a Tamil movie after Alphonse Puthiran's Neram. The buzz is that the Premam star will team up with debutant director Gautham (who earlier assisted director Mysskin) for a Tamil film. The yet untitled flick will have Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the heroine.

“After ‘Neram’, Nivin Pauly always wanted to sign Tamil movies. But he could not do it as he became busy in Mollywood. Finally, he found some time for a Tamil film and also a good script from Gautham,” sources say.

The movie, it is said, will be a romantic thriller. “Both Nivin and Varalaxmi are happy about the script and their respective roles in it. Shooting will commence soon,” add sources.

Meanwhile, Varalaxmi is getting busy in Mollywood too, it is to be noted. Only recently, the ‘Poda Podi’ and ‘Thaara Thappattai’ actress completed shooting for a Mammootty starrer. In Tamil, she is acting in Arun Vaidyanathan’s detective film.
