M K M Arivunidhi, grandson of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, stepped into tinsel town as a singer with the remix of a yesteryear hit number ‘Kaadhal Vaibogamey…..’ in Sundar C starrer ‘Perumal’.
He has now rendered voice for a film titled ‘Thittakudi’. Audio CD of the movie was released in Chennai on Wednesday by Karunanidhi at a small function in his Gopalapuram residence.
The Chief Minister’s wife Rajathi Ammal, former Union Minister T R Baalu, Tamil Film Producers Council president Rama Narayanan and filmmaker Amirtham were present. Also present were Arivunidhi, his wife Poongodi, daughter Mangai, director of ‘Thittakudi’ Sundaran and producer R Sivagokul Raj.
Says Arivunidhi, “Music composer Selvanambi has come out with attractive tunes. I am hopeful that the songs of ‘Thittakudi’ would attract music lovers. I am doubly happy that my grandfather readily accepted to release the audio CD.”
