Debutant Shaan unplugged
Shaan Kumar, the new face in Kollywood, is all set to debut in Kadhai releasing soon. The actor plays the role of a Booker prize winning writer with psychological problems in the film. It is a great surprise to know that the actor is a writer in real life too. In fact, he has a double doctorate plus he was trained in Hollywood College's crash course by Dan Bradley. Apart from acting, he is a good dancer too. Revealing more about the movie, the actor says, 'I was very disturbed emotionally after watching the climax. I am very sure people would love the movie, especially the climax.' Answering a question about playing a negative role in his debut movie, he says 'Right from our superstar to Sathyaraj and Prakashraj, all were introduced only in such negative characters that gave them immense popularity and fame. So I am happy to act in such a negative role in my first movie.' He also feels that the Indian Cinema, especially Tamil Cinema, will have greater impact globally if taken to international audiences. Well! Sethu appears to be the dream role of this emerging talent and his role models are none other than Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth.
