Radhika Sarathkumar has produced this film under the banner Raadan Media Works. There was news that this film has been uploaded on a website before the official release of the film. Apart from this pirated DVD of this film was also released.

Fans of Sarathkumar reported this matter to Sarathkumar. Sarathkumar who was shocked reported this matter to the Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and requested him to take stern action against the concerned persons responsible for this.

Immediately Chief Minister gave instructions to the Commissioner of Police to take immediate action. The Commissioner formed two forces to nab the culprits. The cyber crime police traced the offender. His name was Shankar Ganesh, a diploma in engineering from Coimbatore.

The 26 years old man had uploaded this film in China, Germany and American websites. He was arrested and brought to Chennai and was remanded in Puzhal jail after producing him before the magistrate. Police are also enquiring about how the film which was kept in a particular lab for re-recording purpose had gone out.
