Kishore who was doing villain roles so far has for the first time done the lead role in the film Porkalam. While speaking about this he said,’ I was doing lead roles IN Kannada films’ never expected that I will do hero roles in Tamil films because I was stamped heavily with the villain image.
Venilla Kabadi Kuzhu changed this image slightly. Audience wished to see me as a deadliest villain. At that time Bunty Sarojkumar of the film Porkalam told me that the fans will accept me as a hero and he made me act in this film. After this film, my villain image will change.”
