Reliable sources say Shantanu Bhagyaraj is gearing up to play a legendary role perfected by the great Kamal Haasan. The sources reveal Shantanu is going to play the lover boy Kamal in the remake of the classic 1976 hit Manmathaleelai .

'Manmathaleelai' is an evergreen film of Kamal Haasan directed by K. Balachander. The film is about the romantic escapades of a married man. In the end he realizes his mistakes and believes in marriage and returns to his wife to stay.
