Right now Namitha is not having enough films to do so she is planning to open a dance school shortly. Currently the Namitha is working in Kalaignar's Ilaiagnan film and she is hoping that this film will fetch a good name for her. Namitha is also keen in choosing roles for her upcoming films.

Namitha in a Namitha revealed that, she is fed up in doing glamour roles and willing to do challenging roles in future. But as the producers and directors are not convinced with her attitude the actress is now planning to open a dance school soon in Chennai.
