Ilayathalapathy Vijay is all set to enter Tamilnadu politics. He is going to address his first public meeting on February 22^nd, 2011, Tuesday at 4 pm in VTP College Grounds, Nagapattinam.

He is going raise a protest on the Sri Lankan government for the latest happenings in Nagapattinam. Sri Lankan Navy is continuously attacking the miserable Indian fishermen off the country's coast. His will be speaking on the Tamil Nadu fishermen's trouble and the attitude of Sri Lankan government. Sri Lankan army brutally killed many fishermen and the latest killing happened with Fishermen Jayakumar fortnight ago.

Vijay in a recent interview said that how DMK government and his family are taking the powers of Kollywood into their hands. Especially Vijay has faced a lot of trouble in releasing his latest film Kaavalan. To complete the protest successfully Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar had a meeting on Saturday at Poes Garden residence with ADMK Supremo J Jayalalitha in seeking their party support.
