National Award winning Actor Prakash Raj is celebrating his birthday today (26th March 2010).
Yes, Prakash Raj turns 45 today and he is spending the special day with his family and friends at Bangalore. But the birthday would be made special in more ways than one as his production venture Payanam turned as super success.

He was born as Prakash Rai on March 26th, 1965 at Puttur in Karnataka. He completed his graduation at St. Josephs College of commerce, Bangalore and his interest for acting started here as he participated in many plays, where most of them were in Kannada. It was legendary director K Balachander who changed his name as Prakash Raj for the film Duet in 1993. So far Prakash Raj acted in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam films and he won the hearts of all the audiences in all these languages with his outstanding performance.
Prakash Raj played wide variety of roles and most notably he was seen as a villain in Tamil and Telugu and of late, he stared doing as a character artiste. Prakash has won 5 National Awards, 5 Film fare Awards and 4 Andhra Pradesh state awards for his awestruck performance. He has done more than 265 films so far in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam. He proved himself not only as an actor but also turned as a director and producer too. So far he produced 12 films in his career.
To our surprise he has near 25 projects in his kitty and turned as one of the busiest artiste in Indian cinema.
