Ajith's 50^th film Mankatha is closely monitored by the fans of Ajith and the media for each and every new happening.

A couple of day's back Ajith was spotted at Padmanabha Theatre in North Chennai where the shooting took place. Director Venkat Prabhu has canned the scenes involving Ajith and other cast very fastly as they were crowed by huge fans of Ajith, who were trying have quick look of the shooting. The film has recently completed an item number on Ajith and Kainaat Arora at a bar setting specially erected for this song.

Director Venkat Prabhu is making the film on a faster pace so as to release the film as per the scheduled date i.e. May 1^st which happens to be Thala's birthday.
