After many successful seasons; the most enlightening on ground event ‘Bhakthi’ is back in its eighth season. Bhakthi is the only way to gain true knowledge of the Almighty and the surest way to reach Him. Vijay TV is proud to be back with ‘Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa’– a 5 day spiritual fest at Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai. And this time along with the enlightening spiritual discourse; enchanting music by renowned classical singers is sure to captivate the audiences.
This spiritual festival will be inaugurated by Her Holiness Sri Sathguru Swami Gnanananda Sarasvathi on Wednesday, 16th March 2011 at Narada Gana Sabha.
Commencing on 16 March, the eight season of Bhakthi Thiruvizha begins with an ‘Upanyasam’ by Sri. Velukudi Krishnan Swamy at 6 pm. At 7 pm popular classical / playback singer Smt. Anuradha Sriram Parasuram renders Bhakthi Sangeetham on Lord Perumal. At 7.45 pm Sri. RBVS Manian’s Upanyasam will take place.
On Thursday, 17th March Meeravin Hari Katha will be rendered by Selvi. Suchitra at 5pm. At 6pm Perasiriyai Ilampirai Manimaran renders Upanyasam on Devi Darisanam. At 7pm, renowned classical singer Sowmya renders Bhakthi Sangeetham on Lord Shiva. At 7.45pm Smt. Navasakthi Parimalam’s Upanyasam on Managayarkarasi would take place.
On Friday, 18th March at 5 pm Selvi Sindhuja renders Upanyasam on ‘Pandurangan Magimai’. At 6pm Upanyasam on “Thirumagal Thiruarul” will be rendered by Sri.U. Ve. Ananthapadmanabachariyar. At 7pm Bhakthi Sangeetham on Lord Murugan by Smt. Pushpa Anand. At 7.45pm Sri.U.Ve. Karunakarachariyar renders Upanyasam on ‘Manathirukku Iniyasinam’.
On Saturday, 19th March a seven year old child Varsha Buvaneswari renders Upanyasam on Parvathi Kalyanam at 5 pm. At 6pm Smt. Thaamal Perundevi renders Upanyasam on ‘Kothaiyum Govindanum’. At 7pm Kadayanallur Tukaram Ganapathi Maharaj renders Abhang Harikeerthan ‘Vittal Magimai’.
On Sunday, 20th March at 5pm Upanyasam on ‘Sundarakaandam’ would be rendered by U. Ve. Dushyanth Sridhar. At 6pm Isaiyum Uraiyum “Guruvaiyurukku Vaarungal” by Thaamal Ramakrishnan & Selvi. Smitha Madav to take place. At 7.30pm Sollarasi Desa Mangayarkarasi renders Upanyasam on ‘Valli Devayanai’.
Special ‘prasadam’ from various temples have also been organized for the audience on all days of this spiritual fest. The 5 day spiritual fest ‘Bhakthi Thiruvizha’ will be held from 16th March to 20th March 2011, at Narada Gana Sabha, T.T.K. Road, Chennai.
Tickets will be issued on a first cum first serve basis at VIJAY TV, No. 15 Jaganathan Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai on 14th March 2011 from 10am onwards. These complimentary passes will be issued to the public until stocks last.
