Chiyaan has established Vikram Foundation and through this he is doing a lot of social activities. During the press meet he announced two new projects for the welfare of the society which are titled as Karka Kasadara and Pachchai Puratchi. The first project works for the welfare of the school and college dropouts and helps them to find out a livelihood to support themselves.

Pachchai Puratchi, the name itself depicts and it works towards planting as many trees as possible and the target set for this year is one lakh trees in Chennai and surrounding places. On being as the youth envoy of the UN Habitat it gives him a chance to go to many places and help the poor and needy.

Vikram is aspiring is to make the world a superior place to survive.
