Subramaniapuram fame Jai has celebrated his birthday recently (April 6) on the sets of Simbu's film Vettai Mannan. The shooting happened at Binny Mills near Chennai airport.

Both Simbu and Jai were performing an action sequence with 60 stuntmen by using seven cameras. Simbu who came to know about Jai's birthday has decided to celebrate Jai's birthday on the sets and he ordered a cake. Ilayathalapathy Vijay too is shooting in the same location on an adjacent set. Even Vijay is also busy shooting some deadly action scenes on an adjoining set. Simbu had a thought of inviting Vijay but he was doubtful that whether he would be coming or not as STR and Jai are big fans of Ajith.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay who realized STR's sticky situation has immediately walked into the sets of Vettai Mannan to celebrate actor Jai's birthday. Both the unit members had a bash and when Vijay gave a piece of cake to Jai the whole unit clapped at the loudest way possible.
