Mankatha audio which is supposed to release on Thala Ajith's birthday has been postponed due to some unknown reasons. It is well known that Sony BMG has recently locked the audio rights of Mankatha for whopping amount.

The filmmakers have first planned to release the film for Thala's birthday but due to the delay in the shoot they have decided to go with the audio launch on that day. But now the filmmakers have postponed the audio too which is going to be a disappointing news for Thala fans. They were lot of expectations on the film and also the audio as it has been a year long we have seen him on the big screens. The team has completed the shooting in Mumbai very recently and director Venkat Prabhu has canned few important scenes on Ajith and Trisha at the Dharavi Slums and also at the Mumbai Worli Sea Link.

As soon as the shoot gets completed the team will kick start the post production works. Director Venkat Prabhu is planning to release the audio as soon as possible. With this delay in the audio and the shoot it an expected that Mankatha might release during the month of June.
