Mani Sharma Yanamandra was born on July 11, 1964, at Machilipatnam, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. He started his career as a keyboard player under the guidance of music director Sri Satyam in late 80′s. He toured with Indian playback singer Padma Bhushan Dr.Sri S.P.Balasubramaniam. Mani Sharma used to work with A. R. Rahman under the composition of Maestro Ilaiyaraja in Chennai.

He has scored music for over 140 films and is popularly known as “Swara Brahma” in Tollywood for his contributions to music.

Not only Mani Sharma but Director Bala also celebrates his birthday today. Bala is celebrating his 45^th birthday today.

Bala was born on 11 July 1966 in Periyakulam, Theni district, Tamil Nadu. He studied Tamil Literature at The American College in Madurai. After completion of his studies he struggled a lot to settle in life. Later he came to Chennai and entered the film industry. He joined as an assistant director under National Film Award–winning director and cinematographer Balu Mahendra and started his career.

So far he has done five films and all of them are award winning films. His film Sethu itself has bagged National, Filmfare and Tamilnadu state awards. Bala gave new meaning to filmmaking in Tamil and transformed Tamil cinema with meaningful and realistic films like — Sethu, Nandha, Pithamagan, Naan Kaduval and latest is Avan Ivan. Bala: Man of the moment is currently enjoying the success of Avan Ivan.

His next project is with all debutants and later which in 2012 he is going to direct Vishal again.
