Bala Paradesi release after Pongal. Ace director Bala’s undershoot movie Paradesi that was supposed to hit the screens in December was later planned to be released for Pongal. But the latest update says that the film will be released post pongal.

The reason behind the delay is not known. Paradesi casts Atharva Murali, Vedhika, Dhansika in the lead roles. Bala is also producing the movie besides directing the film under his B Studios banner. The story of Paradesi is set in the pre-independence era and it revolves around the tea estate workers lives. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the musical scores of the movie.

Cinematography is by Chezhiyan and editing by Kishore Te. The film is set for a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu.
