Director Vijay's upcoming film Thalaivaa, featuring Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead roles, is one of the most anticipated films of recent times.
The latest update is that Bharath Creations have snapped the USA and Canada distribution rights of the film for a record price, which is said to be double as that of Thuppaki.

Debutante Rajiv Pillai will be seen playing a prominent role in Thalaivaa. Music for the film is being composed by GV Prakash. Cinematography is being handled by Nirav Shah and editing by Anthony. The film is being produced by Chandra Prakash Jain under Sri Mishri Productions.
