Though the producer of the film, RB Choudury, had asked the team to pack up and head back home, the team stayed back and completed the shoot. The reason, we hear, is that they were picturising a song, which required a particular mood and setting; that was perfect in that location.

Jilla has Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead and the shoot is likely to wrapped up by December as the film is slated for a Pongal release.
