It looks like even celebrities are not spared by robbers. Actress Iniya who was last seen in Tamil in a negative role in Vishal's 'Naan Sigappu Manidhan' has become a victim of robbery.

The actress's residence in Thriuvananthapuram, Kerala was robbed when the family had gone to watch night show in a nearby theatre. The robbers, we hear, looted around 10 sovereigns of gold and cash worth 5 lakh from the house.

The police have already started the investigation on the same. Iniya’s father was quoted saying that the money was kept aside for his daughter’s wedding. Iniya is known for her roles in Vaagai Sooda Vaa. The actress recently made a comeback in Mollywood with the film In the Silver Light.
