The producers of Queen, Viacom18 Motion Pictures, had reportedly said in a statement that Queen has a universal story and that they are proud to have turned the tables, where a Bollywood entertainer would be made in four major south Indian languages.
What’s more interesting is the speculations over who will play the lead in the film? Lot of names are being doing the rounds including that of Nayanthara, Trisha, Taapsee and Samantha.
The filmmaker believes the story of Queen has a pan India appeal and would be received well by the audience down South.

Trisha Krishnan
One of the favourite choices for the leading role is Trisha Krishnan who has carved a niche for herself in Kollywood and Tollywood industries. The milky white stunner had earlier reprised the role of Kareena Kapoor in the Tamil remake of Jab We Met titled Kanden Kadhalai. And Oh yes! She pulled off the role well.
