Here is some good news for all Nayanthara fans! Earlier, it was reported that Nayanthara secretly tied the knot with her Naanum Rowdythaan director Vignesh Shivan.

Claiming it to be a rumour, Vignesh clearly denied the news and took to micro-blogging site Twitter to announce to clear the air. Here is what he tweeted:

Reacting to repots of her wedding with director Vignesh Sivan, Nayanthara, who is shooting in Chennai, said. 'Marriage rumours? definitely not true..!! The only thing that’s happening in my life is work. So the media whose working overtime on this baseless issue can just chill. Marriage is a big thing for any girl and I will definitely let the world know about it when it happens in my life. It will never be a hush-hush one'.

Fans were taken aback with the news of Nayanthara and Vignesh’s secret wedding at a church last week in Cochin. Grapevine was abuzz that the duo got married and the ceremony was kept a tight secret with only close family and friends were invited for it. The alleged newly married couple became extremely fond of each other during the shoot of the film and Kollywood is now aware of their relationship.

This isn’t the first time when Nayanthara has been seeing someone from the industry. The actress was earlier in a relationship with actor Simbu and then Prabhu Deva. While she had stated that she would want to marry someone outside the industry , it now looks like destiny has something else in store for her.

Nayanthara had moved on from that relationship as well after things didn't work out properly. But the latest buzz doing the rounds is that the sexy siren has reportedly exchanged wedding vows to Tamil filmmaker Vignesh Shivan recently in a hush-hush ceremony.

While there has been no official confirmation of the wedding, it is reported that the wedding took place in a church in Cochin. The wedding ceremony is said to have been kept a tight secret and very few people were invited for it. Nayanthara is currently shooting for the Vignesh-directed Tamil action-comedy 'Naanum Rowdydhaan' with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. The buzz is that the two fell fond of each other in the sets and their love blossomed. She had even gifted a luxury car to the director who is a year younger to the pretty actress.
