While there were speculations of Ajith being part of that schedule, we have learnt that Thala will be flying to Hyderabad to shoot for the H Vinoth directorial this Sunday.
'Valimai's shoot is going on with the necessary amount of precautions taken. Ajith will be the first big star in Tamil cinema to resume shoot for his film during the pandemic.
The shoot of 'Valimai' is expected to commence in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad on October 25. Besides Thala Ajith, actors like Kartikeyan Gummakonda, Huma Qureshi, Ileana D'Cruz, and others will be a part of the Hyderabad schedule of Valimai.
Report reveals that the team will be shooting for the film in Hyderabad for 50-60 days. Soon after, the movie will go into post-production. The movie, written and directed by H Vinoth, is touted to be an action-thriller.
Thala Ajith was last seen in H Vinoth's 'Nerkonda Paarvai'. Interestingly, the primary crew of Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai are the same; cinematographer Nirav Shah and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja worked in both the movies.
Yuvan Shankar Raja recently revealed in an interview that Ajith had wanted him to forgo his signature guitar tunes while the duo was working on 'Nerkonda Paarvai'. Yuvan has implemented that suggestion for their current movie 'Valimai'.
Yuvan revealed that he has finished three songs and a theme track for 'Valimai' and it is the theme music which will come sans the guitar tunes.
Valimai's shoot is supposed to finish by February 2021. The movie is expected to hit the marquee in Diwali 2021.
