Looks like Kamal Haasan's 'heroine hunt' for 'Viswaroopam' has come to an end, as the Ulaganayagan, according to sources, has finally zeroed in on Anushka to play the female lead in the mega budget movie.

Directed by Kamal himself, 'Viswaroopam' initially had Sonakshi Sinha on-board. However, since the film's shoot got delayed, the Bollywood heroine opted out of the project, reportedly citing call-sheet reasons and later it said to be Sameera Reddy.

Then started a heroine hunt as well as a guessing game, with the media predicting a new actress's name every passing day. With no official confirmation from Kamal's side, the game intensified, resulting in many stories on 'Viswaroopam'.

Now it is said that Anushka has been roped in by Kamal, as he feels that the actress's popularity in south India would help the multilingual, which is to be simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
