If sources are to be believed Dhanush is set to romance the bubbly beauty Genelia D' Souza yet again in Chumbudevan's big-ticket directorial Mareesan.  The movie is being made under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures.

Mareesan budget is around 30 Crores and is said to be Dhanush's highest budget film till date. The film is a period drama set in 12^th century. Although the makers are yet to make formal announcement, few snoopy sources revealed that the Genelia is under consideration for the leading lady role. GV Prakash is zeroed in as the music director for Mareesan. Dhanush and Genny has earlier shared screen in 'Uthamaputhiran' which has done a decent business at the Box-Office.

On the other hand, Genelia is gearing up to hit the screens on 26^th October on the eve of Diwali with Vijay's Velayudham.
