After taking a brief hiatus post Ravanan, ace director Mani Ratnam is back with a new directorial with veteran actor Karthik's son Gautham.
This is the debut film for Gautham, who has recently undergone the screen tests conducted by Mani Ratnam.
Mani Ratnam was reportedly happy with the young actor's looks and skills. However, he is yet to finalize the leading lady. Sources are abuzz that Mani is considering a few popular names like Kamal 's younger daughter Akshara, Parthipan's daughter Keerthana and also actress Radha's younger daughter Thulasi for the female leads.
The film is touted as a youthful love story with a different backdrop. AR Rahman is roped in to compose the music.
