While many heroines change their names for the sake of entering into films. The directors do this on the need for modernity or for variety.
Banu of Thamiraparani fame could not get successful ventures barring Sattappadi Kuttram. Now director Vasanth roped her in his Moondru Paer Moondru Kathal.

The film has three heroes, Cheran, Arjun and another to be spotted soon. ( Vasanth' s son was quoted for the movie but it still on the process). For the lead women roles, Vasanth first ticked Banu. However, he prefers a change in her name for the film. He advised her to revert back to her original name, Muktha Banu.

She too accepted it and hereinafter she will be with the new name. Let's see whether Vasanth can make a change of her career too through this film. Irrespective of fixing the third hero and other cast, Vasanth has commenced the shooting. He is at present in Nagercoil making frames with Cheran.
