Young music composer G V Prakash Kumar has taken a decision that he would not do 'Kuthupaattu' in his compositions hereafter.

"Many of my fans feel that I should not compose 'Kuthupaattu' as only my melodies appeal them. I understand that most of my super hit songs are only melodies like the tracks I composed for 'Madrasapattinam' and 'Aadukalam'. I want to fulfill my fans wishes. I'm not going to do 'Kuthupaattu' or Item songs.

His recent composition, the song 'Adidaa Avala, Udhadaa Avala…' in the film 'Mayakkam Enna' was criticized by many of his fans and critics. This has made the composer, who is slowly and steadily becoming the most wanted musicians of the country, to decide that he would not compose or avoid composing item numbers in his films.

G V Prakash is debuting in Bollywood also. He is getting married to his longtime girlfriend singer Saindhavi this year end.
