Karthi's next film that is seeing its release is 'Saguni'. A fresh date has been announced for the film's release now. The film is now getting released only in May.

As the movie is still in the stage of completing its shoot the makers of the film has postponed the date to May. It is said that the director has added some more interesting shots in the film. Anushka is also expected to take part in the shoot that is going to happen now. She is doing a cameo appearance on request of the director and the hero Karthi.

'Saguni' has Pranitha in the female lead pairing Karthi. Santhanam plays a vital role and Radhika Sarathkumar, Roja, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mumtaj, Nasser and Salim Gouse play other important characters. Deeksha Seth and Mumaith Khan are also likely to do a cameo in the film. N Shankar Dayal is directing the film and G V Prakash Kumar is scoring the music.
