Handsome matinee idol Suriya is busy acting for his upcoming movie and his first sequel Singam 2 under Studio Green banner and the makers are planning to release the movie in April/May, for 2013 summer.

Suriya's Singam 2 is taking fast shape in the hands of director Hari and casts Hansika, Anushka, Anjali, Vivek, Santhanam, Vijayakumar, Nassar, Radha Ravi, Manorama et al. Devi Sri Prasad has already started composing soundtracks for Singam 2 and the unit I planning for a grand audio launch soon, however date is not revealed yet.

The latest news from the team is that the film will have a Hollywood villain in addition to Prakash Raj, portraying a powerful negative role in the movie.

Interestingly, Studio Green, who are lined up with interesting releases like Vikram Prabhu’s Kumki, Karthi’s Alex Pandian, Venkat Prabhu's Biriyani, Rajesh's All in All Azhaguraja and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga are keen to release Suriya-Hari's Singam 2 in April or May, as summer feast to Suriya fans.
