Looks like Jiiva is going to have a busy schedule until the New Year. The actor is currently shooting in Hyderabad for Yaan with Ravi K Chandran.

“We are shooting an intense action scene, which will feature just before the climax. Sabu Cyril has erected a brilliant set in the city for the sequence. The scene features a Croatian actor, who has earlier appeared in one of the recent Tamil films. We will be shooting until the end of this month,” he says. The actor hopes to spend the New Year with his family in Chennai. “My resolution for this year is to spend more time with family. Last year, I’d hardly spent 40 days at home with them. So, this time around, I’ve promised myself to try and not shoot on Sundays and be back home by at least 6 pm if I’m shooting during the day,” he smiles.

Meanwhile, Jiiva, who’s basking in the reviews his recent release with Gautham Menon has been receiving, says he’s content with the way his career has shaped up. “This January, I will be completing a decade in the industry. I’m happy that I’ve been able to play different characters, experiment with different genres of films and also deliver hits. I hope I get to play a variety of roles in the future as well,” he signs off.
