Lakshmi Menon who has made a quick mark for herself in Kollywood hesitation to do glamorous roles.
The homely looking actress has tasted success with her movies ‘Sundara Pandian’ and ‘Kumki’ which have turned to be hits.

The pretty actress has carved a niche for herself and has made role of village belle her’s, as her future films like ‘Kuttipuli’ and ‘Manja Pai’ would show her in the same light. Thought she in interested in doing movies with the reigning stars like Vijay, Ajith and Suriya she is apprehensive about it as she feel she would be be required to be the typical commercial heroine.

The actress feels that glamour, some intimacy and suggestive clothes would be a part and parcel of such roles which he ain’t comfortable with. She is also ready to do only films according to her her own strict limits even it means she would be having a short stint in the field.

The shooting for her next flick ‘Manja Pai’ is set to commence in February and it would be shot majorly around Chennai and Pollachi.
