Actress Samantha who is pairing opposite Vijay in AR Murugadoss directing Kaththi and Suriya in Anjaan is said to have signed her next film that casts Siva Karthikeyan in the lead role.

If the sources are to be believed, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam director Ponram will helm the project that will be produced by N. Lingusamy's Thirupathi Brothers banner.

Makers are keen to title the movie as 'Rajini Murugan'. While there is no official confirmation, Manja Pai star Rajkiran is reported to be playing a similarly important role as Siva Karthikeyan's grand father in this untitled film.
