After 23 years, Amala opts for a Tamil project
“It revolves around the life of 12 doctors and I play one of the leads in that. It is a very interesting script and I just couldn’t refuse,” says an excited Amala. Ask her if it is on the lines of Lifeline and she says, “It is on a much bigger level and I am looking forward to the audiences’ response.”
Amala is also excited about shooting her portions in Chennai. She says, “It is always a pleasure to visit the city. Whenever I feel down, I think of Chennai. There is always so much love and warmth that I receive from this city.” Now that she is back in Tamil, can we see her on the big screen as well? “Films take a lot of time. Since I am held up with a lot of things, it will get difficult for me. Movies are not on the cards right now,” she says.
