Actor Bobby Simha who is getting rave reviews for his performance in Jigarthanda is on cloud nine as years of his hard work is finally getting paid off.

Simha who has done roles in KSY, Neram, Pizza, and Soodhu Kavvum hit the jackpot as the Madurai based don in Jigarthanda.

Karthik Subbaraj has initially planned to cast Vijay Sethupathy in this role. But eventually, the role came to Simha and he thanked the director for all the credit for his performance.

He also thanked Siddharth for being magnanimous in giving him space to act in Jigarthanda. Simha who was trained in Chennai's Koothupattarai – credits them for making him a good actor. He also credits various short films he has done over the years for his current position and is looking for a long innings in Kollywood.
