As speculated by Kollyinsider, we now learn from official sources that it is Nitya Menen who has bagged the heroine role in Mani Ratnam’s next.

The actress has been cast opposite Dulquer Salmaan. A source close to the development says, “The film will star Nithya opposite Dulquer Salmaan and their chemistry is said to be sizzling. It is going to be an all-out love story — which is Mani Ratnam’s forte.”

Meanwhile, Prakash Raj is the latest to join the crew of this yet-to-be-titled film. The actor has been roped in to play a crucial role in the film and we hear that he will start shooting from October 10. This will be the third time that the actor will be teaming up with Mani Ratnam, after Iruvar and Kannathil Muthamittal.

Prakash Raj wrote on his micro-blogging page, “Super super charged up to be a part of Mani Ratnam’s new film. Loved the script n the role he narrated to me. Life is richer. Cheers!!!!!”

However, when we got in touch with the actor, he refused to divulge any details about the film saying he is sworn to secrecy.
