Ajith's most expected movie Thala 55 is fast progressing with its final schedule which also has the climax which is to be shot.

The shoot is expected to wrap up by mid-November, after which the post production will begin in full swing.

The latest buzz that is revolving in the industry is that the makers of Thala 55 are planning to release the film on January 9th to catch onto the long weekend. Instead of releasing the movie for Pongal Thala 55 will be released before Pongal. The same thing has happened to Veeram starring Ajith, it was also released before Pongal. The teaser of Thala 55 is likely to be released for Diwali.

Trisha and Anushka are the female leads in this film and the audio is expected to be released by November. Gautham Menon is being directed this movie. Harris Jayaraj is composing the music. Ajith will be seen in four different get-ups in the film. The cinematography of this film is being done by Dan MacArthur.
