Thiru's next with Jai, Trisha, Prabhu Deva, Simran

Actress Trisha Krishnan has signed filmmaker Thiru Krishnamurthy’s yet-untitled next Tamil project, to be produced by her fiance Varun Manian under his home banner Radiance Media.

Just on the heels of the news that Trisha, soon after her engagement, signed up for Bhogi, comes the buzz that she has finalised her next project as well. According to sources, she had been approached for Thiru's film, which has Jai in the lead, and the pretty lady has agreed to work in the film.

"Trisha has agreed to do the film, and has signed up for the project. She will be paired opposite Jai in the film, and once she completes her current project, she will start shooting for Thiru's film. So, most probably, the shooting will start from April," says a source.

“Trisha was so stunned by her exceptional character that she didn’t want to miss it. The actress will be seen essaying a village belle against the backdrop of Kumbakonam and she will be present throughout the film,” read a statement.

Apparently, Prabhudheva and Simran have also been approached to play crucial roles in this film. Choreographer, actor and director Prabhu Deva is making a comeback through this movie. Thiru has narrated the story to Prabhu Deva and the ace dancer has given his nod to be part of the film. The multi-faceted star was last seen in Santosh Sivan's Urumi.

Trisha will play Jai's love ineterest in the movie and Prabhu Deva will be playing the role as Jai's elder brother. Varun Manian and Sushanth Prasad are jointly producing this Jai-Thiru film. Thaman is the music director.

Regular shooting of the film will start from March. This is Trisha‘s first film after her engagement to Varun a couple of weeks back.
