As Kollyinsider published the news earlier in Jan 2015, Maniratnam is going to direct Dhanush for a Hindi film.

The film O Kadhal Kanmani which was released last Friday had Dulquer Salman, Nithya Menon, Prakash Raj and others in the cast. The film which had the music of A R Rahman was directed by Mani Rathinam.

The film has yielded good results. In order to show his gratitude, Mani Rathinam has written thanksgiving letter to his media friends. Now the big question in Kollywood is that what would be Mani Rathinam’s next plan.

There are talks that Mani Ratnam will kick start his next in Hindi. What more many say that it would be a direct one in Bollywood with Dhanush playing the lead. Both Dhanush and Mani Ratnam have done films in Hindi before.

Recently in an interview, Mani Rathinam had mentioned that his next film will be in Hindi. Dhanush had earlier acted in two Hindi films. So it is expected that this film will be produced in Tamil and Hindi.

Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani got released and went on to become a huge hit. Dhanush’s last two Tamil ventures VIP and Anegan were big hits and currently busy with Velraj's untitled film.

If comes true, Mani and Dhanush coming together will be a good news for all.
