There were reports saying that Sivakarthikeyan's Rajini Murugan won't see its release because of the huge debts bought by its producer Lingusamy but the team has already kick started the post-production work of the film and they are planning to release it on August.

Sources close to the team say that they will complete the dubbing process by next week while the film's composer Imman will start working on the background score from August 1.

We also hear that the producers are likely to make an official announcement on the release date by August first week. Directed by Ponram of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam fame, the film also has Keerthi Suresh, Rajkiran, Soori and many others to its star cast.
